- The most common symptoms of toxoplasmosis include fever, loss of appetite, and lethargy. Toxoplasmosis can also affect the eyes and central nervous system, producing inflammation of the uvea, blindness, lack of coordination, seizures, and loss of control over urination and defecation.
- Lyme disease is transmitted through the bite of an infected tick. Infected cats may show lameness, fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, or difficulty breathing. Lyme disease can also affect the kidneys, joints, nervous system, and heart.
