  • Lyme disease is much more common in dogs than in cats. Infected cats may exhibit symptoms such as lameness, fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, or difficulty breathing. The disease can also impact the kidneys, joints, nervous system, and heart. Many cats, however, may not show noticeable signs despite being infected.
