The 25th July 2019, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) visits Bioguard Corporation in our headquarters (Taiwan) to promote us as a company seeking international growth by going global. On Friday, October 25th, Bioguard President Edward Lai presented at Nanobiosensor for rapid detection workshop in product display.During his presentation, Mr. Edward gave an overview of the global market of companion animal health and some Bioguard accomplishment during the past years.He highlighted the fact that the market of companion animal health will continue to grow.He also talked about the diagnostic market in the companion animal health“Due to the rising companion animal population, increasing demand for pet insurance, and the growth in the number of veterinary practitioners in developed countries, the growing demand for rapid tests and portable instruments for point-of-care services are expected to offer potential growth opportunities for market players in the coming years.” Concluded President Edward Lai.

Bioguard In- Hospital Education Course: A Connection to the Local Vets
An in-hospital education course, headed by Robert Lo, Ph.D./DVM, of Bioguard Corporation is being accomplished every twice a week in Taiwan local veterinary hospitals to connect with the local veterinarians and contribute in improving their professional capability. With his expertise, Dr. Robert shares knowledge on different pet diseases. Bioguard believes that providing this kind of visit can assist the local hospitals in providing continuous training to their vets. The visit is expected also to boost confidence of the veterinarians and the knowledge that has been imparted shall improve their skills.
Bioguard Contributes in the Publication of China’s Veterinary Magazine
The Veterinary Magazine of Eastern and Western in China releases its 43rd issue including the paper entitled “Feline Infectious Peritonitis: Diagnostics and Therapeutics”, a research conducted by the Bioguard Corporation to disseminate knowledge on the said disease. The said magazine is a compilation from the China’s biggest veterinary conference which Bioguard attended on 2019. The publication is accessible online. The research mentioned was conducted by the Research and Development Team of Bioguard Corporation which focuses on the disease FIP and is fatal to feline. It talks on how the disease affects the life of the pet cat, its symptoms and clinical signs. Furthermore, it elaborates how to deal with an FIP- infected cat, revealing different ways on how to relieve pain and enhance the quality of life of an infected cat.
